Weekly training sessions are provided both at the Dereham Leisure Centre Swimming Pool and the Necton School Pool, with progressive teaching leading through ultimately to squad training and competition. Various levels of competition are catered for and training tailored to suit, from in-house fun galas to county and regional competition.

Social Events September to December 2019
There is a sign up sheet at Dereham Pool for social events taking place in the new season. Please take the time to sign up and make any payments due by Bacs, indicating what it is you have paid for. If we do not get enough interest, the events simply cannot take place.
On September 21st at Swanton Morley village hall, (3-8pm), we have a games and BBQ event including rounders. This may end up not being a BBQ, but a picnic instead. This is open to all family and friends.
On November 4th (6.30pm) we have Squad Bowling at Dereham Strikes. One game will cost £3.95, two games £6.95. Swimmers only unless we don’t have enough interest.
On November 25th we have a Dereham cinema experience at £4.50 a seat, open to all swimmers, friends and family. The film chosen will be suitable for all ages.
On December 21st we have a fun swim in the leisure pool at Thetford, so includes, flume, beach, waves and rapids.
If these events are well supported and enjoyed, we will continue to put them on throughout the year. Planned for the New Year is our Presentation Evening on January 11th. A photographer will be present to take photos and Otters will get 20% percent of every one bought.
Also planned is a squad and parents quiz and a trip to Gravity. Suggestions for outings gratefully received.
Many thanks, Het and Milo
