Personal Coaching Model

Statement from Stewart Park (Head Coach)

Success is relevant, relevant to each individual.

I realize that success for swimmers comes at all ages and I hope to provide an environment that breeds success. I aim to provide an enthusiastic and encouraging environment for all swimmers to enjoy their time within the club whilst striving to discover the possibilities that lie before them.

I believe that we have begun to make changes to ensure the success of the club in years to come and for the benefit of the current and future swimmers within it. My aim is to strive to continue to develop the club structure to ensure we get the most out of it for the benefit of the swimmers. We have begun to develop a program that caters for children who develop at their own rate, aiming for success at a youth/Senior level not purely at an age group level. I strongly believe that the fundamental basics are paramount to the future success of the swimmers.

Within the club currently we have a lot of talent but without hard work, dedicated work ethic to improve in all areas talent is not enough. I am aiming to create an environment that encourages the children/young adults within the club to make the right choices. To make smart decisions that affect them in a positive way and to strive to better themselves to challenge what they think are their limits and break through them.

“Swimming not only builds character, it reveals it……”
