Iceni 2017

The Iceni 2017 Level 3 Open Meet will be held on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2017, at the Dereham Leisure Centre.

The Leisure Centre has a 6 lane, 25m pool, with electronic timing, and tiered seating for 150 spectators. We have an extensive car park, with free coach and car parking. A swim shop will be available during the gala, and the Leisure Centre cafe will be serving swimmer-friendly meals and snacks.

Medals will be awarded for first, second, and third places in all age groups (9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16+). Trophies will additionally be presented to the top boy, top girl and top visiting club.  The entry fee is £5.50 per event.

Please note that this is a licensed meet, and is a cut-off gala. Swimmers will only be able to compete in an event if their PB time is slower than a lower cut-off limit. However, swimmers outside the cut-off may request time-only swims, at the Promoter’s discretion. There is no upper qualifying limit for any of the events, but an entry time is required (see item 3 of the Promoter’s Conditions).

Clubs should enter electronically, using the Hy-Tek entry file below. The entry file can be completed with Hy-Tek Team Manager (or the free version, which is TM Lite). If you do not already have TM Lite, you can download it from here (search for ‘Lite’ on the page). We will accept manual entries (using the paper form below) from clubs with a small number of swimmers. Processing paper entries greatly increases our workload, so please think carefully before submitting paper entries.

If you are running SwimAdmin software, then you should download the file containing the event cut-off times (Iceni2017Entrypack.pdf), upload it to your server, and set the dates during which your online entries will be open. Your members will then be able to enter any events simply by selecting them. The software will select the best entry time which is compatible with the meet conditions. When your online entries have closed, you should download the Hy-tek entry file from your server, and email it to us before the deadline of midnight on September 1st. If you are not running SwimAdmin, you should use TM Lite to manually construct your Hy-Tek entry file, as described above.
